"Great experience!!!!"
My husband and I booked this trip for our honeymoon/one-year-anniversary. upon arriving at the hotel, we were speechless. The property was attractive and clean. We arrived at our hotel a few hours before check-in, but were still able to check-in (SCORE⚽️). We were arrived at our room, it was everything I had hoped to it be - clean, no odor (you'd be surprised), fresh feeling, and a nice view of the pool and beach. Long review short, I'd LOVED my stay at the Westin Punta Cuna. However, if I could make a comment about the hotel, it would be the dining options. The menu selections from both the on-site restaurants/grills were somewhat limiting to my taste. I'm not that kind of people who endulges in the native foods, so I would have liked to see more traditional options.

"PERFECTION!"
We were married on the resort in 2007 and went to another Big Resort for our Honeymoon. After 2 days at the other resort we called Tortuga Bay to have them pick us up and bring us back. We got married at The Punta Cana Hotel and spent our honeymoon in Tortuga Bay. I say without hesitation that it is the best vacation experience I have ever had. This is what its like to vacation like royalty. Everything here was top shelf. The Staff from Top to below is Amazing, The rooms are perfect and the service is incredible. It's not the place to be if you want to "Raise The Roof". For a Quiet, peaceful and Supremely relaxing and Romantic trip, This Is the finest place I know of. My bride and I travel often and Stay at The Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons of The World and this is Definitely a place we dream about!!!! If you're on your way there, You Are Blessed!!!!

"Great relaxing quiet vacation"
Alsol Luxury Village was great for us. Three pools (one more active, two much quieter), enough food options, we could walk to a small beach, or take a $3 cab to a larger beach. The staff were generally great, friendly and helpful. The room was a junior suite, with a kitchen. We had purchased an all-inclusive package, so the kitchen was not used, aside from the refrigerator. The beach at the resort is next to an expansion being built, so there was some construction noise at the beach. They plan to complete the expansion in August, 2015 or so. We found the food options to be good for the all inclusive. Breakfast was at the buffet, with over a hundred options. Omelets made to order, pancakes, crepes, French toast, much fresh fruit, etc., etc. Lunch was available at the buffet, or at the pool-side grill. Dinner was a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant or the buffet, again with so many options I couldn't count. If found so many good things to sample and enjoy.

We went to Alsol Tiara Cap Cana a week after its opening. There were very few guests at the hotel at the time and we were concerned that the restaurants and services would not running at 100%. However we were pleasantly surprised by the experience and the warmth of the staff, who made us feel like royalty during our stay. The hotel is not to too large, which from our point of view is an advantage, as it won't feel crowded, and it has a beautiful architecture. The rooms are ample, very comfortable and elegant. Nothing there feels cheap or plasticky. It has a couple of excellente specialty restaurants (Asian and Mexican) and a grill by the beach that serve excellent food. For additional dining options, there are at least five additional restaurants in the next door Alsol Luxury Villages, that serve a broad variety of international and specialty dishes, which can be used by the Alsol Tiara guests within its all inclusive package. Everything was perfect during our stay, but for an unexpected seaweed invasion of the beaches in the area that made them unusable. Nonetheless the staff went out of their way to give us alternatives for us to enjoy the warm waters of the Caribbean and the many wonderful beaches of the Dominican Republic. The highlight was definitely the staff. We have visited many resorts in the Dominican Republic and in other countries in the world and we have never found such an extreme level of hospitality, friendliness and warmth. We definitely plan to return.

"Honest Review"
OVERALL: Great vacation for our family. We traveled with 3 kids ranging from 12 - 17. They all had a lot of fun. ROOMS: Mediocre, we stayed in a Family Suite. This is not a 5 star hotel, don't expect 5 star quality. The rooms are adequate but there are things that could be improved. The main room was smaller than I expected and had a small bathroom. The room with 2 beds was much larger w/ a large bathroom. The floors are ceramic tile, there were chips in a few of the tiles, the door between the 2 rooms had trouble latching, the mini fridge is MINI and had frost build up on the inside top. The A/C in our room could not be temperature controlled. It was either on or off and was set to 78. I would have preferred the room to be colder but there were ceiling fans in both rooms and we were comfortable. We spent very little time in our room. We were surprised that the TV had cable and American shows. The kids liked to watch TV at night while going to sleep so it was nice to find American programming. FOOD: We really enjoyed the Rodizzio restaurant. Don't miss that! We are not picky eaters. The buffet was good. There were several options but don't expect American food. I preferred the freshly made options. The other food was just ok. BEACH: Wonderful, there is a lot of sea weed right now but it is seasonal POOLS: Awesome, 3 pools that are great with plenty of shaded areas. STAFF: Everyone we encountered was very friendly. Very little trouble communicating.
