"Great Place"
Really good place - nice friendly Dominicans, hot sun, lovely weather. We really enjoyed our stay. I should say that we had a room in 1st building - and it seems we were lucky to get it there as according to visitor's feedbacks from building #5 room service was not really good there. What is nice about the hotel - it is right near the ocean, it has a lot of different facilities (pool, swimming pool, gym, playing room, water accessories, etc..) especially if you're bored to lie on the beach all day long. Food and drinks are served really good and variety is great. This hotel is great for adults without small kids - as there is not much entertainment for them here. They are all set up to carry out wedding ceremonies. So overall - really good place

"Felt like Paradise!"
My spouse and I needed a kid free getaway to unwind and relax. We are totally satisfied with our decision to stay at the Paridisus Palma Real, and will definitely consider staying there again. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Bolivar Guzman our concierge was very pleasant, helpful and accommodating....he's the best. Isabel and the other masseuse (sorry we forgot her name) did wonders for us at the Yhi spa. The room was spacious, clean and well designed. The food at the buffet was excellent, and was actually better than the food at we had at the resort restaurants. I guess because it is all inclusive the menu selection at the restaurants are limited. We enjoyed the variety and quality of food for breakfast and lunch, and looked forward to those meals everday. The staff overall was very friendly and attentive. Our mini bar in the room was restocked daily. It took us one day to find our drink of choice which was the Rum Punch....best drink ever....we had it daily for lunch and dinner. The night events were very entertaining, especially the Michael Jackson night. The casino is small but was adequate for the amount of guests on site. Roulette became my favorite game. So obviously like most resorts they have a vacation club. So we were convinced to go to a meeting to hear about the vacation club. They were a little misleading, by telling us that they don't sell anything it is purely informational, and will only last up to 90 minutes. Well our sales advisor was Abraham, he was very nice, down to earth and informative. He took us to see the members only facilities/services. The breakfast and presentation lasted about 3 hours, we were so exhausted afterwards and had to go back to our room to take a nap. In the end we did not go on vacation to be prepared to join a vacation club that will cost upwards of $20-$30K. We still appreciated the Spa discount, which took $100 off of our spa cost and the casino credits. The other coupons/credits we didn't use (i.e. room upgrade and wine). We also got a voucher to eat at the Gabi Beach restaurant, which we expected to be great since it is not part of the inclusive package......we would have preferred eating at the buffet....it was not all that. So all in all, it was a great experience, we love the resort, and will definitely stay again if we go to Punta Cana, and would also consider other Melia hotels at other locations.

"Our family will return!"
Our family of four returned for a second visit to The Reserve. Our children ages 17 and 18 count down the days until we can relax in paradise. If you want a week of lounging at the beach or pool, this is the place. This year we upgraded to a swim up suite and will do so again. We enjoyed getting to know the wait staff and chefs and their personal service. Luis Rodriguez, Jairo Pacheco, Jeffery Diaz, and Adenauell Perez went above and beyond what we expected and connected with our family making us feel welcome and like we were having a meal at a good friend's home.  Our family works and studies hard and just want a week of reading good books with our feet in the sand or with our toes in the pool.  Can't wait to return!

"Great place"
Beautiful grounds, very clean. Everyone was very friendly. The beach was very nice too. A little bit of sea grass, but still nice. The service was excellent drinks all the time on the beach, by the pool.  Had a lot og chairs by the beach. Food was good we always found something we liked to eat. Wi-Fi didn't come in the best, but that was ok we were on vacation.

"Great experience!"
This was our first trip to Punta Cana and the Paradisus and we were pleasantly surprised! The resort is huge and the grounds are impeccable. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable-the beds and pillows were just right. The shower was large and up to date. Bottled water was provided everywhere. My best compliments are for the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful; we truly felt spoiled. The beach is gorgeous, and you could find sun or shade depending on your needs. There are numerous restaurants to pick from, and the food was excellent. You have to walk a bit to get to the beach or restaurants but we didn't look at that as a negative. All in all we truly enjoyed our visit!

"Great all-inclusive option in Punta Cana"
Our stay for spring break was later than most typical college spring breaks, so we were not expecting there to be many students around our age from the U.S., and there definitely were not. Most guests were couples from S. America or Europe (not a lot of English speakers.) The all-inclusive options were fantastic. The buffet food was delicious as well as the restaurants (reservation-only for dinner). We were in the basic rooms/villas and I wish we had upgraded to the superior: more centrally located and all-in-all better living conditions. However, very little time we actually spent in the rooms, so it was still enjoyable. My group loved the shows and entertainment provided daily.

"Nice close to beach hotel with beautiful grounds"
I would like to begin with when we arrived at this hotel it was at night and it was very quiet. Although we were taken care of in a friendly manner and had someone help us right away with our luggage and to take us to our room. The hotel stay got better and better each day. We did have a problem with the coconut tree banging our resort but once we explained what was going on between the language the problem was resolved prompty by the manager Antonio who was very pleasant to deal with. The only thing i would have liked was more up beat music a little louder around the main pool sometimes it was just too quiet and it would have been nice to pump up one of the pools to have more fun not just at 5 pm for fitness around the pool would have been nice to see everyone dancing and doing there own thing with better music and louder. Overall though the staff could have been a little happier but seeing they work long hours and hard i totally understood after being there for a few days. The security was great i felt very safe and plus they were just great guys. Way too go. Also the grounds men way to go. As well as many of the girls who took care of us at the restaurants great job. And well the best person we really loved to have around and to help us was Lara she was very vibrant and just overall happy to see us and happy to help us. So thanks for a beautiful vacation it was a an awesome 10 days.
