"Everything was perfect!"
My family stayed at Riverstone Resort last week and it was the perfect getaway! The resort had everything you could ask for and more! The accommodations are very luxurious, very new and updated, and super clean! The location was great, right off of the main highway so we were minutes from everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The staff was very friendly and helpful (and even mailed us my son's toy that we left), and we even got to meet the owner and designer as we were checking in, who was also super nice! The 2 bedroom condo had plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 kids. And the kids had plenty to do, from the indoor pool we played at on a rainy day (with views of the mountains), to the playground we went to on the sunny day. We make trips to the area a few times a year and have always stayed in cabin, but we will stay in Riverstone Resort from now on! Never got a chance to try the spa so that will be on our agenda on the next trip ;-)

"ahh okay"
It was ok for the money. Not the best or cleanest or nicest by a long shot, but we were needing cheap and thats certainly what we got. Breakfast is served on a little table by the front door. So youll have to take it back to your room to eat and they had waffles and thats a difficult feat to manuver up a flight of stairs with syrup but again it was free.

"I have stayed here many times."
I love this place. I arrived and was assigned a room. It was non smoking, but someone had broken the rule. I went down to the check-in and told the desk that I needed a new room, or I would have to leave. I am allergic to cigarette smoke, and the room was awful. They immediately moved me and offered to help move my things. My check-in lady was questionable because she never explained my rewards to me when I asked. She was insistant that the computer probably had them. ????? Kind of abrupt, but the others were nice.

"Close to the Island! "
Hotel is outdated! There is only one elevator and it is even not in center of motel! We were on the 3rd floor and it was easier to walk up the stairs than to go over half way around motel to get to elevator! It was clean and easy to the Island which was what we wanted. It had a good breakfast, but, it was crowded with not enough seating for people! Parking is spread out..so if you leave to go somewhere early, chances are you will have to park along ways out when you get back! But, there is parking.........just prepare for parking a good distance from your room. But, felt safe and no problems with loud or disruptive people! The hotel was clean and provided anything you needed. If you are expecting a 5 star motel, then its not for you, but, I was ok with the price I paid for it! Beds were good and all water worked good! Enjoyed our stay there.

Just off the main road to give you peace and quiet when you need it, trolley stop right there to take you into the heart of everything when you want it. This theme park, created by the world-famous country artist Dolly Parton in 1986, offers everything from beautiful festivals to live entertainment to thrilling rides to crafts from talented artisans. Great for families and anyone looking for a fun getaway, Dollywood offers two main parks: a wide, expansive theme park and Dollywood's Splash Country Water Adventure Park. You could find yourself sliding down the Big Bear Plunge, riding a wild train on the Firechaser Express, or having a grand ol' time at The Great American Country Show. When looking at cheap hotels in Pigeon Forge, TN, look for locations near this great park. However, the area also offers many other must-see attractions that shouldn't be missed.

A Thousand Ways to Have Fun

One of those other must-see locations is The Island in Pigeon Forge. Be sure to ride the giant wheel to get a view of what the park has to offer. Within the park is Arcade City, the Island Mirror Maze, the Thunderdome, and the 7D Dark Ride Adventure. Be sure to grab a giant snow cone while you're there. Also in the greater Pigeon Forge area is Fun Stop Family Action Park, which houses the expansive, circus-themed Big Top Arcade. You can also find miniature golf, a variety of huge go-kart tracks, and fun rides like the Soaring Eagle Zipline there. Plan on winning big at the Rockin' Raceway Arcade, a local favorite. Another favorite destination for travelers is Parrot Mountain and Gardens, which actually houses live birds like parrots, magpies, and toucans and can make you feel like you've walked away from a tropical paradise. On a more somber note, history enthusiasts young and old would have a lot of fun at the Titanic Museum, which offers some uniquely interactive displays. While you're in the area, don't forget to take pictures: Get a great family portrait sepia-style at Wild Gals Old Time Photo.

However, the "Smokies" are also a wonderful place to just get a breath of fresh air. You can find many ways to explore the great American outdoors, whether you're taking a casual, serene walk on the Riverwalk Greenway or enjoying a high-paced thrill ride with the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster. A Wondrous Experience

If you're looking for something that will leave you in awe, visit WonderWorks. Don't worry: You'll be able to find the building easily, as it is, after all, upside-down. See a Wonders of Magic show with Terry Evanswood. The interactive exhibits are great for introducing the wonders of science to children, as they offer cool information about light, sound, space, temperatures, natural disasters, and human strength. Kids could also strap on some sneakers and start rock-climbing, taking on a 50-foot-tall obstacle course, or pedaling on an Xtreme 360 Bike. A great option for the whole family is to actually take to the skies with the Wonders of Flight. Get breathtaking views while flying through the sky in a huge helium balloon. If you want to fly when the weather is poor, also note that you could fly indoors at Flyaway Indoor Skydiving. There are plenty of wondrous and magical experiences waiting for you at Pigeon Forge, TN. Hotels downtown may be close to The Tomb Egyptian Adventure, where explorers can act as archeologists who've been trapped by the magic of an ancient pharaoh and must work together to get out alive. MagiQuest provides another magical experience: Use your magic wand to unlock secrets, gain powers, and discover hidden treasures.

    Great Live Entertainment

What's better than enjoying great southern food while being entertained in Pigeon Forge? Motels are often close to local, fun, and exciting dinner shows. A favorite destination, the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show, tells the story of two legendary families and their long-standing feud while providing you with an excellent meal. Skip forward in time a bit to the Soul of Motown show at The Grand Majestic Dinner Theater, or see real lumberjack athletes perform at the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show. There's also the country classic variety show, the Smoky Mountain Opry, and the amazing stunts at the Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction in Dollywood. There are many different choices for local dinner shows, and all of them can provide for a fun and delicious time. For just a great old-fashioned meal, eat some classic southern cuisine at The Old Mill Restaurant, Bullfish Steak & Seafood, Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, or Smoky Mountain Brewery.
