"Great Choice for Spring Training"
We stayed here for 4 nights while in Mesa to attend Cubs spring training games. This hotel is extremely convenient to Cubs' Sloan Park, and is adjacent to a mall with many food choices, as well as a free trolley to the ballpark. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious, clean, quiet and well-lit. The comfortable sofa had plenty of lighting for reading, and the room also included a refrigerator, coffee maker and large screen TV. The breakfast was adequate, with freshly-made hot breakfast sandwiches, french toast or pancakes, cereal, toast and bagels and fruit. The only problem was that, because of the crowd due to the time of year, the coffee kept running out. I thought it was inefficient for the staff to keep running back and forth with coffee refills: they could use larger coffee servers (I was told each one only holds 6 cups). The parking was also good with plenty of parking spaces for guests. This hotel is a great choice!

"Expensive but Very Nice Overall"
We just returned today from a 6-day spring break trip to this resort. The location is excellent, very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The grounds are beautiful. The swimming pools are nice but are crowded. Tip: Go early to "save" chairs. Put down towels and some personal items or they will be completely filled by 8 a.m. One day my son and I went down at 5:00 a.m. to get the spot that we wanted. Ridiculous, but there was no other way to do it. The food that is served by the pool staff is marginal, but the drinks are good. Lunch for 4 with drinks cost us almost $100. Needless to say we ate there once and then never again! The parking lot garbage cans are filled with fast food trash - I guess a lot of other people had the same thoughts as we did. The Canyon Market shop/restaurant is nice, and the food is fairly reasonable and tasty. My husband golfed the adjoining course and enjoyed it, except it cost $575 for him and a buddy to golf 18 with a cart. Would be nice if they offered a discount for hotel guests (or maybe that was the discount price?). Either way, it's very expensive. Plus, there is a $25 daily resort fee on top of the cost of the room, which seemed a little ridiculous since our room was pricey to begin with. The staff was very friendly, especially Ryan by the pool. We were greeted with a margarita when we arrived - very nice touch! Overall, this resort is very nice and was a great place to go for a family vacation. However, I don't think we'll go back as we felt it was a little too expensive for what you actually got. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are average and there are no "perks" like a free breakfast or complimentary cocktails in the evening. Warning: If you have young children, be extremely careful when you are anywhere near the lagoons. There are no fences or guard rails - you can just walk up to the edge and fall right in. When we were there a toddler fell in and almost drowned. I can't believe that they are able to have such dangerous areas that close to the pools, right where everyone hangs out! Room Tip: They have live music at night so I would avoid any rooms with balconies that overlook the main area...

"Great location,super staff"
The staff could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed the Starbucks coffee machine and the full service bar. When we missed the last trolley, we called and the hotel sent the golf cart service for us.

"Easy airport access, friendly staff"
The shuttle pick-up was quick and easy, and we were delivered directly to the hotel just a few minutes away. Check-in was efficient, and because we were checking in rather late, we were offered free salads which were to be discarded soon -- they make fresh packaged salads daily. The vegan spinach salad was a lovely treat. We got good advice about airport shuttle time for the next morning, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet before leaving (fresh baked pastries!). The room layout was nice, a living area and semi-separate sleeping area. The beds were doubles, not queens, so it was a little cozy to share with my son. All staff members were friendly and welcoming.

Very quiet, clean, & friendly hotel, right next to the mall, restaurants, movie theater, & interstate. Will continue to book this hotel for my future trips to the Chandler area, only wish they had coffee on earlier than 6:30 am, due to I'm an early riser.
