Great, fun boutique hotel with excellent staff

Family of four with two kids stayed at Triangle D'Or for two nights May 13-14. We arrived early on May 13 at 10 a.m. and were shocked / surprised that our two Superior rooms were ready! And Fatima, the manager at the desk, set the tone right away - helpful and fun! So, instead of having to drop our bags off and wander Paris in a jet-lagged condition (we had flown in overnight from the US), we comfortably settled in at 10 a.m. The rooms were very clean, with a funky, modern, rock and roll theme that we enjoyed since we were in Paris mostly to see a rock concert at L'Olympia Theatre which is right around the block. The rooms have extremely solid, pretty much sound-proof doors. Bathrooms were very modern, sleek and clean. Beds comfortable with good linens. What more could we ask! We did not eat at the hotel, but the breakfast looked good and was well attended. The location near L'Opera and Madeleine is very convenient. We walked to the Louvre on one excursion, and even all the way down into the Left Bank. There can be a bit of street noise, but the windows are nice and tight, and there are thick curtains to absorb sound. Overall, I give Hotel Triangle D'Or 5 stars, especially for the affordable price. Not a single thing can I think of to complain about. We would definitely go back, and probably will. And Fatima gets 6 stars for overall fabulous-ness! She is so good with kids, and she helped us out a lot with logistics.
