"Cool place to kick back"
The Ace was an extremely relaxing place to stay. We were there for a week, and most of our preconceived plans for that time frame quickly got replaced with "Ehhh, let's just lay by the pool." The saltwater pool is warm and refreshing, and the spa is great. Be sure to get to the pool early and claim your spot, however, because even though there is a myriad of pool chairs, they get snatched up quick. My only complaint was the price of the drinks and the service at the bar/restaurant. Things move a little slower here, and a can of cheap beer will cost you $6. Don't worry about it though, man. This isn't a place to get frazzled, it's a place to relax. The pool is open from 6am - 2am, and there is something going on every day - be it karaoke, or a DJ dance party. During the weekend, this place is a hangout for hipsters and the pool is packed. During the week, it's much more of a family atmosphere - be it a very cool family atmosphere - but the pool is filled with kids during the week. The beds are huge and the rooms are very trendy, cool, and relaxing. I especially like the polished concrete floors and open glass shower. You can also rent a tandem bike for free and there's wifi available everywhere (be it a little slow). Overall, I would recommend the Ace. Get a 30-pack of Tacate, sneak it into the pool, and you're golden.

"Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable room"
After a long day driving from the California coast and through the LA basin, I was more than ready to check in. The staff was very helpful, showing me where everything was in the room, recommending nearby restaurants, and ensuring that I was comfortable. The room was equipped with a fridge and microwave, although breakfast was not provided. I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable place to stay when one is in transit.

"An excellent experience!"
I just got back from Palm Springs, and enjoyed a fantastic week's stay at the Hyatt! The hotel is beautifully designed--very modern and elegant, and during my stay, work was still being done to promote that. Attention to detail was quite impressive, and the staff really worked hard to ensure that guests were attended to (answering questions, and giving recommendations for entertainment and activities). The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and I even asked about a microwave, and had one delivered within minutes! That was really a treat, as I didn't know we had that option :-) It is always nice when impressions stay with you, and I must mention that I received the best customer care from Esther ( I was lucky enough to be greeted by her upon check-in, and if you're lucky, you will too!) Such a vibrant presence, and just a model of patience and professional decorum even when faced with very daunting queues ( a true testament to this hotel's popularity!) She should be an Ambassador prototype for the Hospitality industry! Kudos to the Hyatt Palm Springs for putting their best at the front lines! This will definitely be my go-to destination whenever I get back to Palm Springs!

"Walking distance to Villagefest"
I chose this hotel because the prices were better than usual due to it's being under construction. After a long days' drive we wanted to be able to walk to the downtown Thursday night festivities.

"Extra towels . . . with a smile!!"
Nice hotel, close to town and all the nightlife Palm Springs has to offer. Very clean and comfortable at a good rate. Front Desk staff were very nice and friendly as well as housekeeping. Extra towels were given with a smile! Swimming pool and spa were clean and enjoyable. Rooms were nice with granite vanities and granite shower enclosures. Definitely recommend this to friends and would stay here again. I was visiting from Las Vegas.
