DO NOT STAY HERE . The owner is horrible . Banged on our door saying get out get out now it was super weird . He waited for us to pack and leave , he could’ve just called or asked us nicely when we’d be out of the room . Not like anyone else was staying there anyway . Rooms are so dirty , had drug residue in our table the lampshades were stained and turned around to hide it . A/C barely worked . Just trust me find something else . The place is horrible .

The reason i stayed at this hotel was because of the proximity to the amtrak station. The couple who owns the hotel and stays there were very rude. No phone or coffee maker in room. Walls are paper thin. There was a crying baby and a party simutaneoulsy taking place next to our room until 2am. It just felt like a place people went to either get drugs or a prostitute.

Location: I WENT FOR A SPECIFIC EVENT
OWNERS SPEAK VERY LITTLE AND MUMBLED ENGLISH CHECK IN AREA REEKED OF WHATEVER THEY HAVE BEEN COOKING TV DID NOT RESPOND TO REMOTE...DID GET A NEW TV ROOM WAS CLEAN AND, ALTHOUGH SOFT MATTRESS, COMFORTABLE MOTEL IS RIGHT ON 441 AND TRAFFIC RUNS ALL NIGHT!

You get what you paid for.

Pros: Great for an overnight stay or a fishing.
Cons: Door jams should be repaired or replaced. Had a look of being pried open at one time.
Location: Close to many restaurants. Not much to do in Okeechobee.
Its an old hotel; what else can be said. Window hanger air conditioner and an inefficient refrigerator. Not much to see on television.
