The property is beautiful. We're very happy to have had this experience. It is an Inn not a cookie cutter hotel. We were on the second floor. There was no elevator. There were also no ice machines. You had to go to the kitchen for ice. I would reccomend this for a romantic get away, not a family vacation.

Overall property was nice, but individual room lacked. We may have been the only ones there due to Covid, yet our requested king size bed room was unprepared for us upon arrival at 10 PM. The sheets were changed upon our request to prepare the room for our stay, but dirty pillow cases remained. Musty odor prevailed. Breakfast consisted of 3 day old danish, which we did not eat. Will not return.

I apologize that you experienced these issues with your room. I assure you, the sheets are laundered with all covid directives in place. Also the pastries are prepared the day of arrival for your complimentary to-go breakfast. If you were to book with us directly instead of a discount site, you may have received a suite more to your liking. We are sorry you do not plan on returning.

This hotel has multiple buildings located on a beautiful property. The old stone buildings are beautiful; there is ample parking; staff at reception were courteous and helpful. The location is close to route 309 as well as the PA turnpike. Lots of shopping nearby should you need anything. We had the king suite on the 1st floor in the Thomas Wilson building. Plenty of room and an enormous bathroom with spa tub and updated shower, although only 1 sink. Faux gas fireplace that would add some ambiance and heat if you stay during cold months. Small private patio off of the bedroom, unfortunately the chairs were very uncomfortable. We placed the privacy sign on our door each day and were pleasantly surprised with the basket left at our door each day with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc and water bottles. The only real disappointment was the burber carpeting. It was badly soiled and quite frankly needs to be replaced in the suite as well as the hallway throughout the Thomas Wilson building. This place is a nice change from the typical chain hotels in most places.
