It's too bad your room did not meet your expectations. We have four different properties. Two are more like hotel rooms and the other two have a more rustic cabin feel. We try to describe our rooms the best we can online but apologize if the description wasn't clear.

Booked the hotel because the room was advertised as having a “partial ocean view”…we were given a room with a view of the street/parking lot. Spoke to David (staff) about this and was told that when you book in a certain price range (wasn’t cheap) ~ you could get any room. The only room with a partial ocean view was considerably more 😒. Worst bed that we have slept in while traveling ~ soft, but very broken down in the middle (think of what a sway-backed horse looks like)..neither my husband or I got much sleep. Very small room, very small round shower with a shower curtain that was pretty much “on you” while showering.. The one bonus point I’ll give this hotel ~ You could hear the ocean (since we were up the majority of the night) and that was nice. I’ve only written one other less than favorable review on any hotel we’ve stayed in over the years…very disappointed with our stay at this property.

The staff was amazing and very kind and respectful. The breakfast was tasty - much better than the average buffet and although I sat down with 10 minutes left, I was invited to stay and enjoy my meal. Which I did in comfort. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay. Just what I needed.

It was amazing!!

Pros: The environment, the room, the cafe downstrairs, the fireplace in the room with two comfortable chairs, the bath tub. We had everything we needed.
Cons: Internet was very slow.
Location: The beach of course, the shopping and restaurants.
Everything about it was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing by the fireplace. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The breakfast downstrairs was delicious and the environment very charming. I can't wait to come back again.

The Perfect Getaway

Pros: Charming vintage details with all the modern conveniences
Location: Great coffee shops and restaurants nearby! Perfect proximity to the beach and haystack rock.
The hotel is exceptionally charming and comfortable, the perfect place to hide away for a long weekend. There hasn't been a detail overlooked at the Cannon Beach Hotel and we cannot thank the staff enough for the service and smiles the provided during our stay. Food was delicious, the rainfall shower head heavenly and the fireplace in our room kept it cozy. We are already counting the weeks till we are able to come back!
