Great Location

Pros: Everything
Cons: Leave the 1st floor entrance fireplace on all night long, I like seeing it even when I wonder back in at 4am.
Sixty Soho was a great experience, with all the unique quirks and personality that come with boutique style hotels. So if you prefer more of a soulless sanitized chain feel...don't stay here lol. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is on a quiet side street, so it feels more like a private club or retreat, but is literally a five minute walk to upscale stores, the subway, Starbucks, restaurants (Hundred Acres was a unique foodie experience), etc., if you don't believe me just enter 60 Thompson Street on your phone's mapping app and look around. The room (studio king) felt upscale and customized, while the bathroom had a quality look to it. The rooftop bar was not yet open for the season, but the Lobby bar fit right in with other elegant NYC cocktail bars. The Pegu Club is a five minute walk away, and also offers a great cocktail bar experience. The muffled music from the bar could be heard on my floor (floor three), but was not a problem for me. You won't need a cab from this location, and the Subway is about a 15 minute ride to Times Square (Theater district) uptown, and a lot less time to go downtown to the WTC site. I would definitely stay again, and plan to. Tip: little grocery store is 1 minute walk down Thompson, along with a pizza by the slice restaurant for late night munchies, as well as an incredible little liquor store around the block.

funky and friendly staff..

all was great - I ordered morning coffee at 7 AM and it always came right on time - location is great staff helpful and friendly = will stay at the sixty soho whenever in ny!!
