Good location for where I had to go.bed comfortable. Desk staff not freindly. Breakfast medicocre.

We had 2 shirts come up missing. Smoke alarm started a slow beep, desk told me to disconnect it. I told him I could not reach it, he hung up on me. I called desk again, clerk said she would be up in a moment. Finally had to go to lobby, clerk followed me up. First he said he was going to disconnect it. I asked if that was legal. He said ok, and fixed it. Alarm started beeping again an hour later. Alarm was eventually fixed the following day, after it beeped all night.

Embarrassing

Pros: The staff.
Cons: I say if you don't have the space to run a decent hotel....let it go!!
Location: Location and nearby things to do works very well.
Myself, my husband and my God-daughter (18yrs) went to NY to see my son graduate from a nearby University and when we arrived at the hotel I was so very embarrassed!!!!! I wanted to turn around and find some place else but I had already paid through Travelocity. First off parking (literally) is right out side the front door of the hotel, which only fits about six "cars" max and that's with a very tight squeeze, therefore we had to find a spot on the street about a block away. We got the smoking section because that was the only thing available at the time and the hallway "REEKED" of marijuana (I mean so strong you could get an instant contact...whew). The room was so small there was no room to even move around. We called the front desk to ask if we could pay for an upgrade and were told that all the rooms are that size. So never the less we ended up purchasing another room for a total of $165 for 10 hours (they threw in an extra hour making checkout 12:00 noon instead of 11:00 a.m. We had no choice or she would have had to sleep on the floor or in the bath tub. PLEASE just spend the extra money and get a decent hotel room if you care about sanity at all. But needless to say we had a very nice time outside of that. And let me state: I normally don't give bad reviews (this is my first one ever and I'm not bashing anyone...just stating the facts.
