I had a good restful night. The people at the front desk were kind. The mirrors were dirty and there was hair on the shower wall. At 6:30 or so, there was a lot of loud banging (maintenence??) below my room that was rather disturbing.

Reminds me of an old tenement building. Thank God its only one night. Only positive is proximity to LGA. Check in was by a guy hiding behind a plexiglass area. Automatic door almost took my wife's arm off when it closed on her.

Quick check in. Desk clerk called me when my food was delivered. He made sure to note that is need a shuttle to the airport.

We had a nice one night stay. Location close to LGA airport so the plane noise was high. Close to several local and chain eating places, within walking distance. about two or three city blocks. Area was older city but felt safe the time we were here and walking about.
