Bad first impressions: Upon arriving to check in, the lobby doors were locked. I pressed the intercom button and no one answered. I had to call the direct line and saw the male front desk personnel walk from the bar area to the front desk to answer my call and eventually let me in. Horrible experience at checkout - I had paid for self-parking for the my entire stay. When we went to get the vehicle, it had a boot on it. Kenisha, I think that was her name, was super helpful and resolved the problem. However, we had to wait almost an hour for the security service to remove the boot. Kenisha mentioned the information was entered incorrectly on their system.

The plumbing in shower was broken in our room, had to move to another room. Then the plumbing in second shower wouldn't turn off. Very inconvenient and frustrating for 4 adults to get ready to go out! But we were not going to pack up and move rooms again!

It took us 7 rooms to get a room that had an ac that half ass worked but it was still not doing what it was supposed to do

We had a terrible experience. When we arrived we were told that they didn’t have valet parking. That we should just park in the parking garage next door. They cautioned me to not park in any spot with a reserved sign. So I did not see any gates or signs giving me any guidance, so I found a place to park. We checked into our room, unpacked and then went to the French Quarter to walk around and have dinner. We returned to our room around 7:45 and the temperature in the room was 63 degrees. I tried to adjust the thermostat but it wouldn’t respond. I then called the desk and they sent someone to fix it. The serviceman spent 10 minutes fiddling with it and said it should work in 10 or 15 minutes. Well, it didn’t work. So I went to the desk and asked for another room. They gave me one on the 10th floor. I went to the room before moving our clothes. As soon as I entered the room I checked the thermostat. After I touched it, the fan on the wall unit came on and the large cover plate on the unit fell off and hit the floor. I took this as a sign from God to move on. So I went to the desk and asked for a refund because I wanted to check out. The desk clerk refused my request. She said we had occupied the room for more than 4 hours and couldn’t authorize it refund and the manager was not available. Since it was almost 9:00 I decided to spend the night and check out in the morning. We were booked for 2 nights. We weren’t happy with the room, the a/c unit was a problem. The tub did
