We had a Oceanview room (if you don’t select Oceanview, you could end up with a room in the motel across the street). The maid service NEVER once changed our sheets, made the beds, wiped down surfaces or vacuumed. They took the trash and towels and gave us a pile of towels FOR US to sort out, fold and put away. They never cleaned the bathrooms. The bathroom looked dirty when we first got there (specifically the toilet). Three elevators for 21 floors was horrible. Two washing machines for 21 floors was also horrible - especially for a hotel catering to families. The best thing about this hotel was the ability to share the pools with the other properties. There needs to be more towels brought out regularly. If you don’t get them early, you won’t get them.

The rooms were very nice, housekeeping staff just dropped off towels and took the garbage out of the room, you may or may not have had a replacement bag in the pail, after that they did nothing else

The beach was beautiful and easily accessible. Pool towels were always readily available. Snack machines and drink machines were easy to find and not too pricy. Unfortunately, you had to pay to use the chairs and umbrellas that were on the beach. Also, there were many indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. However, it was best to use the pools first thing as they got super dirty by the late afternoon. Guests were very careless and we often found trash floating in the pools or even sunken at the bottom. Our first room in Sailfish had a nice view of the ocean, but other than that it was outdated and dirty. The water from the sink faucet smelled terrible. When we had our room changed to The Palms, it was so much nicer. The elevators were clean, the room was new and nice. All staff were friendly and helpful. I wish I had known there was a hotel shuttle when I arrived at the airport. I had to pay for a taxi. On the way home though, the shuttle drove us. The hotel shouldn't advertise an outdoor lazy river as it is ONLY indoor. The outdoor part is shut down. It would have been nice to know. They also boast outdoor games such as shuffleboard and cornhole. However, there weren't any cornhole bags to use nor shuffle board pucks. The hotel website also says there is a restaurant. The hours of this establishment were unclear and not posted nor was anyone ever in there, except at the bar. Perhaps this was due to the fact that we were there the last week of April.

The check in process was painful. There were only 3 people ahead of us and it took. 1 hour to checkin. We didnt get our room until 1 AM and it had already been prepaid. That is terrible service.
