The rooms were definitely not cleaned good. I dont mind a hotel being a little run down aa long as its clean. But this one was not cleaned good and dusted. And the hall carpet had stuff on floor all week never was vaccum. This could be a nice place with some updating and cleaning

As soon as we arrived in parking deck to check in, we immediately smell strong odour of marijuana. We went to front desk to check in and female at front desk was eating food and licking her fingers and acted as if we were inconveniencing her. She told us our room was in the 1st floor. We asked her if we could please have a room that was higher up because we wanted a great view of the beach. You would think that with a resort with 22 or more floors, that there would be one higher. She states she could give us a room on the 2nd floor or the 14th. The other lady at the front desk whispered to our attendant that we would not want the room on the 14th floor. The lady we were speaking with told us that other people had been assigned to that room and there was something wrong with it. We asked if room on 2nd floor was as good as original room on 1st floor that they assigned us to. She said they were the same so we chose 2nd floor room. After paying $30 parking fee and $250 refundable security deposit, we went to check out our room. On the way to the room, we noticed ceiling in the hallway appeared to be leaking and molded. When we got to our room, room was nothing like the pictures that we saw on Expedia. Room was very rundown. Paint coming off walls, balcony was very small, room not dusted very well at all. We went out on balcony and the smell of marijuana was so bad that we could hardly stand to be out there and there is supposed to be no smoking inside hotel.
