Everything was wonderful from the quick and easy check in right down to check out. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always kept conversations with us! This hotel has a hot tub which I think is fantastic. We had a long day and to be able to come back to the hotel and sit in the nice heat was very relaxing and peaceful.

Older Hotel but very nice!

Location: State Parks, the Islands, beautiful drives.
From the outside, we saw an older building and thought we might be in trouble.... But we were wrong! The staff at the counter at the evening check-in were super friendly and helpful and our room had clearly been remodeled....it was clean and modern with a tasteful decor and all the amenities we would need. The breakfast was your standard continental affair. I think the morning clerk hadn't had her coffee yet as she wasn't overly friendly, but that wasn't a big deal. All in all, we would definitely stay here again if in the area as it was a convenient home-base for touring the area and was well priced.

Not what we expected from a Best Western.

Pros: Staff and Price.
Cons: Upgrade rooms and keep entrance areas clean of tree debris.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean, but worn. The needles and leaves all were carried into the room from the outside door. There was no area to walk our dog.

Hotel near I-5

Pros: See comments listed above.
Hotel just off the WA I-5 exit 227, easy to find in the dark of night. Hotel staff was excellent, professional, able to answer questions related to local information and the Anacortes ferry schedules. Room was large with kitchenette, dining table, chairs, living room seating and a comfortable bed.

Clean rooms and friendly service

Pros: I like that the conditions and service at Best Western are consistently good.
Cons: I like it the way it is.
Location: Near I-5. The tulip fields are nearby and beautiful in the spring time.
I stay at the College Way Best Western twice a year when I am in Mt. Vernon on business. It is conveniently located near an I-5 entrance-exit and very economically priced. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms look out on the pool area which is well maintained.

Excellent Value for the Money

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, fresh waffels at breakfast
This property is best described as a Motel where all rooms open to the parking lot. It is very well kept and everything worked well! The maintenance staff is to be commended. The desk employees were also tops. I had questions about the TV/Entertainment center and asked for help at the desk. The desk clerk took me to the lobby to demonstrate what I needed to change the mode function of the remote. Excellent! Our room was on the back side of the motel and was immune to traffic noise. Beds were very comfortable and the room clean. I would recommend this motel to friends. Excellent value.

This hotel was clean and quiet

This hotel was reasonably priced, clean, quiet and situated near stores and restaurants. The continental breakfast was nice and had a good selection of food to choose from. I will keep this hotel in mind if I am staying up in this area again.
