We stayed for 2 nights in early June and loved this property and the location! Very comfortable bed and clean room. Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the sea otters and other animals and birds. The Morro Rock is mesmerizing. Lovely stay, highly recommended!!

Our room was really nice. They bed was very comfortable and the gas fireplace was a nice bonus. The staff gave us restaurants we might like and it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

I don't want anyone to discover this unique hotel. I want to keep this gem all to myself. So I hate having to write this review, but I must, because this hotel is so delightful that I don't know how to say enough good things about it. Everything is thought out beautifully. I couldn't use any item in the room without discovering it was better than I could have hoped. For example, the bed frame includes two huge drawers that pull out of the end, and the drawer bottoms are cedar! The hand rail in the tub/shower is exactly where you need it for easy use getting in and out. And it's so sturdy that you can pull hard on it without budging it one millimeter! The soap, shampoo, and conditioner are more than good; they are Bath and Body Works good; they smell wonderful and work great! The counters are high quality stone (granite or marble; not sure which, but beautiful either way). The location is perfect, right on the bay across from Morro Rock. Parking is free and on site. The continental breakfast is superb, offering more choices than supposedly fancier hotels, and the quality is superior. And it's included! The staff who took care of us were John, Kim, Rachel, and Felix (the maid), and they were so far beyond helpful and nice that those words are useless to describe how wonderful they were. So please don't stay here! You will never want to stay anywhere else, and then I might not be able to get a room! No kidding, this world traveler has a new favorite hotel.

Amazing stay on the bay

My boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday and I got the birthday package, it included champagne, strawberries, chocolates, balloons, cake and candle made of towels and a card, it was sweet! We got the bay view room, perfect view of the rock. Beautiful and clean hotel, friendly stay, awesome location! 10 out or 10, would stay again!
