"Great Location...Wonderful Staff"
This hotel was in a prime location and had second to none hospitality. The staff were accommodating and extremely helpful. Our room was immaculately clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again without question. The Rooftop Bar and Noir Restaurant were absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I also got a free room upgrade from a King Suite to an Executive King Suite. Don't be afraid to ask for the free room upgrade when you check in. Enjoy your stay!!

"Good central location"
Although room was a little too warm, it was nicely furnished, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved that the hotel was close to the theater district and many great must see places in the city. Lobby was beautiful and looked like they had done a great job restoring it.

"Great location & room, friendly staff"
I stayed at the Wyndham Midtown 45 for my first visit to NYC.  I originally selected this hotel for its location, price and reviews on several sites.   I was traveling specifically to attend the US Open in Flushing, and knew that I wanted a hotel near the 7 train. The hotel was also in a great location for sightseeing such as the public library, Bryant Park, Times Square, Broadway, Fashion district, Rockefeller Center and Central Park.   When we checked in, the concierge was very friendly and after some conversation, provided us with free internet for the first night.  We were surprised to find that our room had a full kitchen, with a stove, dishwasher and full sized refrigerator.  The room had a nice layout and did not feel cramped with the entryway, kitchen, typical-sized closet, couch and queen sized bed.   When we were ready to checkout the staff held out bags while we went to lunch and were very prompt about delivering our car and bags when we returned to leave.     We were very busy during our stay so we did not take full advantage of the room amenities nor did we have reason to ask much from the hotel staff.  I will definitely consider this hotel again, especially for an extended visit where I would benefit from having the full kitchen and nice seating area in the room.

"Good Hotel if Don't Plan on Being in room"
First off all the negative reviews on here had me terrified to stay here, and as I had already booked the rooms with no cancellation I was extremely concerned. That being said I may have had extremely low expectations, which caused my stay to be more pleasant than anticipated. The hotel is extremely dated, from the entrance all the way up to the room. I had a room and the other couple I went with had a room as well. Props to Justin at the front desk as he gave us both spectacular rooms, one with a queen sized bed and a couch to chill out on. The beds are more on the firm side, but it didn't bother us any. The rooms could use a lot more attention then received by housekeeping, as there was a lot of dust in the ceiling, which is pretty low. The room was very bare but the amazing view made it ok. The hotel is not too far from all of the touristy spots such as Times Square, Empire State, Central Park( quite a long walk), Rockerfellar Center. if you don't have good walking shoes you can always get a cab. As far as the food at the hotel we ate elsewhere. There are plenty of great restaurants & bars in the area, dunking donuts, Patsy's pizza, Joes cafe etc. So don't bother with the food at the hotel as it is way overpriced. The bar is ok, but always dead. All in all we spent very little time at the hotel so it worked out as a place to sleep & change etc.
