if you want to sleep beforer 2 am this is NOT your place. loud music and people outside until 2 am parting. i could NOT sleep until 2 or so. no where it says loud music until 2 am. so beware if you need to sleep.

Hi Duane, we spoke directly about your situation and I apologize this is how you experienced our property. We are switching how our room types are displayed on our own booking page. Our room type name will be "Above the bar" for rooms that will be impacted by sound coming from the music. This will be the lowest available rate and will give guests a clear understanding of what to expect.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay! Decor was really cool and unlike any other hotel I’ve ever been at. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Services offered at the hotel are convenient and really helpful for tourists. Would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to stay again!

Great Place

My wife and I are gay friendly and very much enjoyed our stay. Friendly people including staff. It’s also a fun walk from the hotel up Lincoln to the east side of South Beach for people watching at sidewalk cafes.

Nice hotel walking distance to SOBE attractions

Pros: Everything...
Cons: In my opinion... No improvements needed.
Location: Lincoln Road... Ocean Drive ... Fine dining and entertainment all walking distance.
We traveled to The Hotel Gaythering from Ft Lauderdale (Wilton Manors) for a Saturday night "Staycation". Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff was amazing... accommodating and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We had plans to hit a SOBE hotspot or two on Saturday night, but had so much fun in the The Gaythering bar/lounge that we didn't leave. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit. Thank you, Matthew, and your ENTIRE staff.
