We stayed in the “Barn”, which was both charming and comfortable., ...and impeccably clean! And the service was definitely 5 star. The owners and staff went above and beyond to meet our every need. Breakfasts were awesome! The “Barn” offers the charm of staying at a B&B with the privacy and comfort of having your own cottage.

Cozy, Great Price, Believe Your Eyes, Not Your GPS

Cozy, breakfast served in the room is way better than being served in a common room. The Sea Gull Inn is easy to find, but the GPS services only provide one "you have arrived" destination for all addresses on Albion Street; fortunately, downtown Mendocino is way too small to get lost. The owners, Jim and Ayla Douglas are really friendly, their prices are well below everything else around, and it's really nice being within walking distance of the entire downtown as well as the cliffs and beach. It's a really quiet location; my Valentine and I can't think of a single drawback, except to remember next time to look under the bed for our half-full red heart box of Valentine chocolates.
