As a previous maint manager of the property I found a leaking toilet, unusable dimmer switches, falling apart shower knobs, lack of a hand rail for access into the shower, rattling balcony doors, missing free to air tv channels, threadbare public hallway carpets, .....a bit of a dis-appointment

A little dated the rooms on floor 4 and 5, the bathrooms could do with some love, beds were fine, the carpet in the hallways of floor 4 and 5 is very old and has crumped up so its a potential tripping hazard, fine for location, price was reasonable

For the amount of money paid for the room, I would expect the standard to be higher. The bedroom had enough space around the bed to move around (40cm). If you put your luggage on the floor or the stand you had to climb over it. The bed obstructed your ability to close the bedroom door. The laminate on the kitchenette doors was peeling off. The telephone in the room was unplugged and had no power, therefore you had to make an outside call on your mobile to speak to reception. There were only sufficient crockery, glassware, and utensils for one person, so we had to walk down to reception to get another set of everything. On a positive note, the bedlinen was clean and the bed was comfortable, the hotel is located a short walk to public transport, theatres, restaurants, and shopping.
