"Best place in Mexico!!"
Everything about El Cid is top rate! We stayed 10 days and had the best vacation we have ever had in Mexico. There is plenty of variety in the food and it always was presented well and tasted perfect. Amada makes the best omelettes in Mexico and the fish simply melts in your mouth. Our room was spotlessly clean every day and even had extras like chocolates, tequillia, and special designs on the bedding. In Club Elite Marisela was so helpful in everything we needed to do. We will always stay at El Cid Resorts from now on every time we come to Mexico. I highly reccommend the elite plan. If anyone has any complaint about this resort they can´t be pleased anywhere.

"It was a home away from home."
The Freeman Posada was indeed a "port in the storm," a home away from home. The view is spectacular, but there are other hotels on the ocean. What sets the Freeman apart is the sheer quality. It's like a first rate American hotel at half the price. It is worth every penny. Loved the balcony overlooking the ocean. The rooms are clean and beautiful; one barely wants to leave and go outside! If that weren't enough, the staff is so friendly. I made a fast friend in Eva, one of the maids, last year. And if THAT weren't enough, a brunch in the lobby comes with the room. This isn't rolls and granola; this is a lavish brunch with many inventive hot entrees, fruit, etc. -- the whole nine yards. And there is a patio for outdoor dining. I cannot say enough about this hotel!

"Great service!"
I went last month along with other 5 girlfriends. Due to the safety concerns issued to travelers, we were a tad concern but once in the hotel we felt very safe. The service was excellent by the waiters in the pool and the restaurant. We loved the service at the La Cascada. The hotel is not a 5star hotel but it has what you need. We had several plumbing issues with the bathroom. There is no free wifi. There is a lot of national travelers and as an international travel you don't receive exceptional customer service you get in other resorts. We were surprised that they account for beach towels at the pool. You get charged if you don't return it. But overall, the service made a great experience for my friends and I. The pool staff and restaurant staff took great care of us. (It made up for the front desk, maintenance and management overall).

"Great beach vacation"
A fabulous place that is even better. A change in management meant everything was stepped up even more. Food and beverages were outstanding. Staff couldn't have been warmer and more responsive to everything. Menu had great choices and moderate prices. Even the sumptuous breakfast buffet was priced right. The place was immaculate, the pools clean and welcoming. Any request was addressed immediately. Can't wait to return. Free WiFi in the lounge.

"Satisfied Customer"
Stayed from 12/10/11-12/17/11 and was very happy with all aspects of the El Cid Marina. We had a one bedroom suite and room was nice and clean with a kitchen and a King bed. Bed was a little hard for my liking but I have a Tempur Pedic at home so I am a little bias. View from balcony was great and hotel grounds were very clean and well kept. The pool was nice and the drinks were weak but tasty. We did not get all inclusive because I feel it is never a good deal and there are so many great places to eat in Mazatlan that you shouldn't feel obligated to stay and eat there. We did eat two meals at the El Cid Marina and both were very good. We did eat one meal at the El Cid Moro (La Cascada)and it was $50 and it was easily the worst meal we ate the whole time in Mexico. Mazatlan is kinda falling apart but the El Cid Marina is still very nice.

"Excellent service!"
We just returned from PB Emerald Bay from a Christmas vacation. Excellent...excellent service and quality for the money. We chose the all inclusive package and it was well worth the extra expense. The pool staff was beyond our expectations. Beautiful beaches and fantastic views. Already planning for next year.
