The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. The carpet in the hallways was dirty and worn. Wallpaper is coming off. Not sure about the cleanliness of the carpet in the room? The owner needs to invest in the property.

Would not stay here again. Location wasn't bad, right on what seemed like the main strip in Martinsville and close to food options etc. From the outside it looks fine and expected things to be good from the view of the lobby and front desk. Once we checked in to the room it was 79 degrees although the AC was on full blast. Of course I wouldn't say it was blowing cold air. We were in town for a music festival and everything was sold out so what other option did I have? I guess I was stuck with what I got. Being exhausted from the festival I did manage to fall asleep in the heat after getting a shower. While in the shower I noticed black mold on the ceiling, that can't be healthy. I will say the bed was comfortable though the pillows were lumpy and I think it's time for new ones. I expected we might sleep pretty late being how exhausted we were from the festival and how late we got in. Actually didn't sleep much more than 4-1/2 hours, presumably because it was just getting hotter, the thermostat showed 80 degrees when we got up. Don't know how or why when it was in the 60's outside. Anyways I couldn't wait to get out and into my truck with some working AC. Between the heat in the room and the black mold on the bathroom ceiling, I can't recommend staying here. I can't believe it but I actually told myself I probably would've been better off at the Scottish Inn up the road.

The linen was not cleaned properly the beds didnt sleep good. For 112$ he could have been better i stayed at hotels for 60/70$ that was better than those

Room was clean, bed/pillows most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. Quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was more than I expected. Good selection and hot food bar was excellent. Only negative was room privacy. Our room had only sheer curtains on outside window. Our window looked directly onto the pool with bright lights and onto the parking lot and highway. Thought it must be a mistake not to have privacy/room darkening curtains. Changed rooms and same thing. Fortunately, 2nd room faced an outside wall. Overall, a good stay and would recommend.
