This Embassy Suites is an older property, but seems very popular. It was fully booked on the night we stayed. The room we were first assigned on the first floor near the exitt smelled of mildew and had peeling wallpaper. I asked to be changed to another room on an upper floor. I was pleased that they found another room for us on the 3rd floor even though they were so busy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The included "cook to order" breakfast buffet the next day was terrific. Unfortunately, a minute into my shower, the water turned ice cold. It took a another couple minutes before it returned to luke warm. We reported this to the reception desk at check out, and I hope they really do look into it!

Room was not ready until almost 5, check in is at 4. Furniture is very outdated, but clean. Not awful, but wont come back here when in town.

The Hotel itself is beautiful & clean. Beds were comfortable. We arrived hoping to swim & soak in the pool & hot tub however when we arrived the pool was closed . The front desk said it should be open in an hour so we went to have dinner came back & still no pool. They did finally open the pool about an hour before it closed so we did get to use it.

The Embassy Suites, formerly and still locally known as "The Barcelona", is one of the most uique and beautiful Hotel properties I've ever stayed in. The bar was fantastic fun, but beware, it doesn't open until 4pm. So no day drinking. 😁 The one and only single issue was the hair left in my shower wall from the previous guest. I highly recommend staying here, whether overnight or longer stays.

We booked into Embassy suites for the convience if having a bar and restruant on site. It was a big sports weekend and none of the 6 tvs worked in 4 days. That was a disapointment. No maid servuce but understand why.
