Nice hotel near everything.

Pros: Price, convenience and service.
Location: Many businesses and restaurants on Ventura Blvd., Topanga Canyon nearby and Orcutt Ranch in the other direction.
We booked one night since we were in town for a wedding at Orcutt Ranch and a day trip to Ventura the following day. The hotel was easy to find and centrally located. The owner/manager was very friendly, attentive and made us feel at home. The hotel itself was compact but laid out in a way that made the best use of the space. The room was cozy and the bed very comfy. Despite the fact that it's located on a busy stretch of Ventura Blvd, it was pretty quiet, and we got a good night's rest. Ten minutes after we checked out the next morning, I received a phone call from the manager. I had forgotten my suit bag in the closet, and luckily we weren't far away. When we arrived, she had it ready in the office for me to pick up. It's the service and attentiveness like this that leaves a great impression on me, and shows the pride the owners have in this hotel. I heartily recommend this place to any traveler who wants a comfortable place and doesn't need all the fancy amenities of a more expensive hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
I decided to stay here blind, never having been here, to avoid the high prices at the Marriott, where I was attending a conference. It was a great choice. Clean, friendly and safe and a 5 minute drive. I didn't need fancy, just reasonable, and the Knights Inn gave me everything I needed at half the price I would have paid at the Marriott. Thumbs up!
