"Comfortable place to be!!"
Everything about the room was fine; although the bathroom area was a bit tight , it still proved to be suitable for us........how much time do you really spend in a hotel room??? we stayed in the hotel 10-12 years ago, and found it to be the perfect location.

"Sunset Strip's finest"
Wonderful hotel with excellent spacious rooms, fantastic staff and great atmosphere. If aesthetics and vibe matter to you, it doesn't get much better than this. As far as the basics go, the rooms are beautiful and clean. Our room overlooked the Sunset Strip and our balcony door stayed open the whole time because the view of the hills is so beautiful. Nothing but good things to say about The Standard Hollywood.

"Very nice but shortfalls given the money charged."
Very nice hotel and quite cozy. Front desk, concierge and parking very attentive. Had to ask multiple times to get housekeeping items sent to room. Also, was never provided wash clothes although constantly asked. If it happened one time would understand but not multiple times. The cons were very frustrating and took away from a good experience.

Fantastic stay in Mid-city Los Angeles. The rooms are modern and the staff are some of the best I've encountered in the hospitality industry. I'll defintely consider staying at The Orlando again should I be in the area.

"Home away from home"
Thanks to Carl, Tom, Ben & Joseph for your great hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay at the L.A. Sky Hotel. It was our second visit which we extended by a further 5 nights. It has a lovely ambiance, comfortable and welcoming courtyard and is central to most things you will want to see. If you have a car, it could be even better, but we prefer to use the local transport system and found it convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Nice restaurants in the area and walking distance from a large shopping complex. Will definitely return on our next visit to Santa Monica.

"Quaint and relaxing!"
What a wonderful experience! The hotel staff was more than accommodating, the rooms were spacious with lovely furniture and accessories. There were free DVRs and movies, plenty of paperback books and comfy reading areas along with a serene outside garden area---all within walking distance to the beach. Our stay included hors d oeuvres and cocktails for Cinco de Mayo and a yummy breakfast the next morning. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely be back!
