Great base for Cinque Terre

Pros: The grounds and building were well cared for and the view was very nice. We took advantage of the pool which was very refreshing!
Location: The location is a good base for exploring the area. We took the shuttle bus to the train station and took the train to Cinque Terre and hiked.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is located just outside of Levanto, up quite a large hill. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The hotel runs a shuttle bus back and forth to town. You get one free return trip and then each additional trip is 5 euros per person. We had a car but chose to take the shuttle to avoid having to find parking in the town. It was quite convenient. They will drop you off in the town centre near the beach or at the train station. We had a lovely room. We had booked a standard double room but were sent an email offering an upgrade to a deluxe room with a small charge. We took advantage of this and were glad we did. The room was spacious and there was quite a good sized balcony with a nice view.
