"South Point Las Vegas"
We stayed at the South Point because it was a busy weekend in Vegas so it was hard to find a spot. The hotel is located at the southern end of the strip about a mile or two from the action. The facilities were ok, clean, and safe kind of like a Courtyard with a casino. We enjoyed the king size room because it was a little larger and could accommodate three easily. The food at the Asian restaurant was good, but the brunch buffet was horrible. Overall I will stay at this hotel again and I will get a room here for less than $100. It's a good value option.

"Mixed feelings"
Stayed with my best friend for 4 days, we're both 30 but not into the big party scene so Fremont seemed fun, and it was!! I loved being so close to so much cheap and free fun and food! However, our hotel stay was odd. Upon early check in (1130am) we went to our room to find half of the carpet wet as well as the curtains from touching the floor. Appears AC unit leaked very badly. Called front desk to have it resolved 3 times over an 8hr period, around 9 p.m. they finally sent maintenance up to vacuum the coils and another guy up to vacuum water off floor and put down towels which remained there the rest of our stay. Bed was amazing but sheets had rust stains and found unopened condom box under bed. TV went out first night and lost bathroom power on day 2. Shower didn't drain, ankle deep by the end of every 10-15 min shower. Pool is PACKED. Do yourself a favor and rent a day bed in the adult pool area! I have 2 kids and even on a vacation without them didn't mind the presence of children but the amount of people and children packed into the general pool was anxiety causing instantly. They DO nickel and dime you tho and gambling isn't very good. It just seems like no one who works there knows what is going on. Never found anyone who could supply our discount book (included in resort fee) & the staff in each dining option seem to hate their job. I'll give it one more try in the off season if the price is right but only because I liked Fremont so much!

"Beautiful Room -- Great Buffet"
Vegas rooms are such a great deal. The Orleans has great buffet. The Spas & Pools were stunning. While the staff let me park my Harley right under my window they wouldn't let me use a cart to move my stuff to my room without a "Bell Hop" which I would feel obligated to tip.

"The room was a smoking room "
I am a smoker so I got a smokers room what the smell was very overwhelming because the windows don't open it was awful smelling and the air conditioner was very sub par which was very inconvenient because it was a hundred eleven degrees outside I stayed here before and been satisfied I think I just got a bad room this time. The windows do need to be open and the place needs to be aired out though

I really appreciated that they made me and my dog feel like VIPs. The folks who work there really went above and beyond and they have done a great job on the renovation. If you dig boutique hotels and don't mind being off the strip, this is the best pet friendly option! :-)

Las Vegas is truly a 24-hour city where sensory overload is the name of the game. The pulsating pool parties, the overwhelming revues, and the extravagant hotel-provided entertainment seem to blend into one crazy experience. When the heat outside or on the dance floor gets too much, there's always a cool casino at the ready. Reserve a room at one of the Las Vegas hotels on The Strip in advance--you'll want a place to crash after a day and night spent in Las Vegas.

Out and About in Las Vegas

Any trip to Las Vegas should begin with a walk down The Strip. The glitziest hotels and casinos line the street and never go dark. Get an amazing view of the city--and the surrounding mountains--by taking a ride on The High Roller, known as the "world's tallest observation wheel." After a morning spent riding high above the city, head to the downtown area and the Fremont Street Experience. This pedestrian mall has a zip line, light and sound show, and plenty of shops. Experience the lights of Old Vegas before heading back to The Strip and the nightly light and water shows put on by the 5-star hotels in Las Vegas.

    Eating and Drinking

Las Vegas buffets are in a class by themselves with world-renowned chefs designing meals of crab legs and lobster tails and dessert tables overflowing with sweets. Or, opt for one of the cheap hotels in Las Vegas and save your budget on an amazing celebrity-chef restaurant. Emeril Lagasse has several locations serving New Orleans cuisine, including Delmonico Steakhouse in the Venetian. The Italian-themed casino is also home to "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro's Buddy V Ristorante. Fill up on pasta and sauce, then head to the Cake Boss' bakery for a cannoli.

Get ready to plan the ultimate vacation in Sin City. Travelocity will help you secure hotels in Las Vegas so you can spend your time and money enjoying the city, from the Bellagio Fountains to Cirque de Soleil.
