Decided to do a Xmas in Vegas!

Pros: Used to like the treatment and location! Even stayed at the additional attached to the MGM buildings! No attention to Loyalty here!
Cons: More attention to amenities and less add on fees! Loyalty to returning customers!
Location: Location still very good! Miss the Lyons!!!
Returning to the MGM for the third time! I had requested a room with a Bath! I was delt a room in an older section with no bath and poor location! Returned to the welcoming desk, explained my delima (meant NOTHING) as we had to pay a significant extra fee, which also took awayl some relaxing time on arrival Will not return to the MGM!

We were recieved and checked in quickly and in a friendly manner. The staff was well informed and answered all of our questions. We absolutely loved our stay experience and will return soon!

Terrific staff!

Pros: the service
Cons: maybe we are idiots, but couldn't open the minibar?
Location: it's Vegas!
The MGM staff treated us like we were the only guests that they had. We were celebrating my mothers 85th birthday with a trip to Las Vegas (so she could blow a little of my inheritance!) Early check in....no problem! Mom had injured her arm at the airport, the staff was right there with first aid and good advice! Discount tickets to the top shows in the hotel..."no problem Mr. T ....third row for David Copperfield, WOW! RA was the same! My mother got lost in the casino and found the concierge desk, I got a call on my cell from the concierge...."your Mom is lost can you come and get her" I asked how they got my cell (my Mom doesn't know it) They had called the front desk and got it from my registration! AMAZING service! We could have stayed anywhere on the strip, sure there are newer "greater" hotels, but I will defiantly be back to the MGM on my next trip.

World Class Experience As Always

Pros: Everything from the staff, appearance, cleanliness, decor, amenities, shopping, entertainment, etc. No thought or expense is over looked at this hotel
Location: There are 7 out of 8 Cirque Du Soleil shows within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel with 1 of them being in the hotel.
This was our 2nd vacation to Las Vegas and our 2nd stay at the MGM Grand. The Vanilla scent of the hotel is amazing. The staff are very friendly and professional and willing to do what ever it takes to help with any issue or concern you may have. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house keeping staff do an excellent job on the facilities and rooms. I would recommend any MGM Resort in Las Vegas but highly recommend the MGM Grand most of all. It's accessibility to other areas of the strip via bridges, walkways, or the tram make the Las Vegas experience that much better.

Free Yoga, but no hot water

Pros: Staff courtesy, good restaurants, plenty of open game tables.
Cons: Hot water - that's just weird.
Location: The monorail made it pretty easy to access other things to do, but I honestly don't understand why you'd want to leave the hotel... it's hot outside.
The only real complaint is that the room didn't have hot water. It was pretty hot outside, though, so this wasn't a huge deal - just odd. Everything else about the hotel was great. My favorite part (after gambling and drinking all night long, obviously) about the entire stay was the free yoga by the pool every morning at 8a - I'd never done yoga before, and the instructor was really nice and it was a great intro. That's honestly the last thing I'd expected to be doing in Vegas, but was also very pleasantly surprised. My wife talked me into that. There were 2 - 5 people there each morning, so small groups.

Needs just a few minor adjustments

Second time staying here, this time in a west wing room, which I guess was updated recently. It was okay when I figured out the elevator system and good that I didn't have to walk miles from the elevator to the room. Could have used a bigger window, but for not spending much time in the room itself it was fine. Room was clean, shower was a little scummy but at least no hairs from previous guests. My biggest complaint is the resort fee, I can understand if someone is there on business, or absolutely needs to use what is included, but 84$ for 3 nights and I didn't use the wifi, gym room or get a newspaper(which was supposed to be part of this) even once it is a bit of a rip off. Charge those who actually use the services and give the money to those who would have probably just spent it your casino anyways...seems like such a money grab. I would have used the wifi more if I was told at check in that the resort fee was mandatory (Make sure you tell ALL your guests hotel staff, don't assume they already know)
