Great desk, and housekeeping service. The only problem we had at check-in was parking. The was nowhere near the hotel to park, so we ended up 2 or 3 blocks away and walked back just to check in. Their valet was full and would not allow temporary parking for check-in. Once you get in, and find the front desk, it's smooth sailing.

We arrived at 1 and parked in the Terrace Hotel lot. We went inside but we told we had to wait until 3 to check in. Not a surprise. But there was no mention about parking. We had lunch at the hotel and went for a walk. After we checked in at 3, we went back to get luggage and put in the parking voucher -- to discover the valet had put a no parking sticker on the car! A sticker. If parking is not allowed by a customer who arrives two hours before check-in the original desk clerks should definitely have told us about this. (The clerk who did check us in was friendly and more helpful.) But this is NOT a good welcome to a hotel, especially one with such classic atmosphere as the Terrace.
