Best value in the Lake Geneva area! Clean, spacious, updated rooms with awesome amenities, for the price of a lower-end hotel. Fireplaces, full-size kitchens, wonderful view of golf course, giant soaking tub, outside decks, walk-in shower stalls.

Looks Great but wait!

Pros: The appearance of the room was awesome.
Cons: Allow guests time to sleep. Why would you put guests in a room right next to where the whole staff meets every morning?
Location: We went to the beaches and shopping downtown on the waterfront. It was nice!
We went to this hotel for a two night stay in Lake Geneva for a mini-vacation. It is not managed by Holiday Inn, you have to go to the registration desk at the Grand Geneva which is confusing. If you don't know that ahead of time you are driving, trying to find the Holiday Inn registration when it doesn't exist. Don't arrive early because they will not give your room to you before 3:30. Once we got our room we were impressed, it looked great! However, the floors are filthy. I walked from the bedroom and sat on the couch in front, and saw my feet were black. Also, each morning the cleaning and engineering staff congregated outside the door of my room and talked VERY loud in various foreign languages to each other starting at 6:50 am. until 9 a.m. So much for sleeping late on vacation.

Beautiful Autumn Glory

This location is perfect.  The unit's patio looks out onto the golf course with a backdrop of the fall colors.  The kitchen is well equipped and love the fireplace. Peaceful and yet easy trip to the downtown area, local eateries, even the grocery store (Redbox, where we rented a movie).   There was an excellent Haunted Hayride at the stables!  You can ride horses at any time.  The spa is beyond fabulous with a rock wall, wonderful massage and delights to soothe. The main lodge has delightful entertainment in the lobby area which has floor to ceiling window panorama of the golf course, pond and fall foliage.  There is seating grouped around the piano, the fireplace or windows.  Excellent place to sit and enjoy the music and your beverage of choice. With a property owned trolley running from morning to night, you can reach the waterpark, spa, main lodge or even the ski slopes on your schedule with a simple call for pickup.   All in all, this place has everything for excitement, fun, food or my favorite the peaceful beauty of the country as your personal postcard.

This was a lovely location with very nice rooms, would definitely go back again!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
We were lucky to get a suite that is normally used for Time Shares/Vacation weeks. The rooms were nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was great having a kitchen, living room and bedroom rather that just a room. My only complaint was the sound of running feet above us. Thankfully they settled down at a reasonable hour and got up late.

Thin walls but overall great room!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, full kitchen, living room, big beds, washer and dryer in unit
Cons: very thin walls
Having a full kitchen, living room, and washer and dryer in unit was a huge plus. The bed was comfortable and big. We were very pleasant surprise with the size and comfort of our room. The view we had of the golf course was very nice. Having access to the Grand Geneva Hotel was awesome (we wished we stayed longer and took advantage of the amendities). The two complaints we had were: you had to check in at the Grand Geneva (which is not clue when you make reservations) and the hotel walls are very thin (we were able to hear conversations as if we were in the other room). Even with all those complaints we would stay here again.

Beware of housekeeping fees

This "hotel" literally does not have any service of its own since they piggyback off of the Grand Geneva resort. Even the front desk is answered by the grand geneva. Not knowing that, we called the "front desk" to ask whether there was a pet policy and they told me YES but apparently the policy is for the grand geneva & not the holiday inn. My family stayed at this location thinking it was a great deal but didn't realize that we would get charged by the holiday inn for the stay as well as $250 extra for the housekeeping from GG for supposed "deep cleaning". I get no answers every time I call GG about the charge & the holiday inn claims they can't do anything about it because they don't even have a pet policy! Will never stay here again & I would be very wary of charges to your credit card after you check out if you do stay there.
