The hotel is under renovation, which is the reason around my rating of the property condition. The facilities were fine. It just wasn't as "put together" as it will be once the renovation is done.

I was first taken to a room that smelled like animals and smoke. I was told that Travelocity had indicted that I was disabled. So I was placed on the first room. I requested another room and it had an strong smell of mold. I left the hotel and had to go to the hospital to get medication because I developed a bad sinus infection. Things were so bad that I used a different reservation site to book my next two hotel stays. I am currently talking my two types of medication and I'm hoping I will be released from the doctor to see my 80 year old mother before I have to fly back home. This has been an awful week. I was eventually taken to another room that was clean without odor. However, that only occured the morning I left to go to the hospital. I had become quite sick at this time.

I have tried to cancel my booking because my husband got injured on the job in law enforcement . The manager would not tell me his name, but said to call him VJ. I asked him to cancel due to my husband being injured on the job and we could not travel. VJ said that he did not care what my husband did for a living or that he got hurt on the job. He said his hotel was fully booked and would not take the hit for us not being able to stay the night. VJ refuses to Refund our money. I would suggest that no one should ever stay at Comfort Inn in KC!
