The property was a bit dated but clean and functional. The beach is fantastic and the property feels private. The staff were great except for one lady that was taking care of the towels at the end of our last day and was rude to us Food was good but not a lot of options.Definitely would go back.

No room service, no premium liquor (only for members), air conditioning problems, food was terrible, and our rooms were in a "bird sanctuary" area (which they did not inform us of) so it was incredibly noisy with bird droppings every where. I've stayed in Isla Mujeres many times and this is by far the worst experience I've had on the island.

Well that was interesting! I only stayed 1 night of the 3 that I'd paid for because the property is uncomfortable. At check in, the staff was friendly. They did lightly ask me if I wanted to be part of an ownership opportunity, which I declined. The facility feels a bit like a very old cruise ship that has run aground. The surrounding area is GORGEOUS - which is the best (only) bright spot here. The water is warm and comfortable and one can spend lots of time bobbing in the calm surf on the west side of the island. Food was fine. Maybe a slight notch lower quality than a typical all-inclusive resort. Here's the MAJOR problem: The island is infested with Terns. A tern is a bird that is a bit like a mix between a seagull and a black bird. They are noisy, so sleeping is problematic. They have pooped all over the resort, so it smells bad and you can't navigate across the property without stepping in bird poo. I also found the bathroom to be just so-so. Water would not get hot in the shower. It looked nice, but with the birds all over the place, I could not rest here. So I left.

The property should inform visitors that it is a bird sanctuary. These birds are very noisy and smell. We had to move rooms due to the noise, it was a little better but the bird droppings are everywhere. The beach was nice but 30 to 40 boats anchor there and drop off a couple hundred people (minimum) every day so the view is limited. Read as many reviews as you can find and try to make an informed decision.

Location was great, serving staff was great, views were amazing and if you have young kids, this would be great. The concierge was a lying, condisending person. customers service both there and afterwards is non existent. we didnt have hot water for three of our five days. i kept going to him and he lied to us saying he was taking care of it. i asked to speak to the manager above him and he said there wasnt any. I asked for some compensation, he said he would check and never did. He never wrote any notes so the other person I talked to had no idea we even had an issue. This place is way over priced for no hot water. Food for breakfast and lunch were ok. Dinner very sub par for all inclusive. one good restaurant that was closed 4 out of our six nights we were there. Dont stay here unless small kids.

Amazing beach, service was wonderful, ceviche bar was great, options at the buffet were also good and had a good variety. Drinks were good. Property needs work, rooms need a little tlc. Painting on buildings needs to occur, bathrooms need updating. There are steps in and out of rooms and patios that could cause a trip hazard to some.
