The place was run down. Pipes and fittings were rusty. The toilet was terrible. It was so low to the floor it was almost a squatter. The water level in the toilet was so high it almost touched your bum. For men, it presented an altogether different and disgusting problem. The A/C was noisy. My room fronted Richmond Ave. with light and noise. Travelocity people should have been given inside rooms without the light and noise issues. I would not stay there again.

I liked that there were a lot of places to eat near by. The room was a good size. What I didnt like was that the TV was set to go off if the remote is not touched for a certain amount of minutes so it was going off while I was watching a movie. I didn't like that they obviously dont dust in the rooms. There was heavy dust above on the pop corn ceiling above the closet door. There was heavy dust on the ceiling fan. This kicked up my allergies a great deal. I asked cleaning personnel if she had a duster she didn't speak very good English but I speak Spanish and was able to ask if she had one and she gave me a tattered rag to dust. It was very noisy at night. There is a strip club next door and a sports bar across the street.

Breakfast was good. Richmond Ave. Houston, TX. I had a business trip. Close to my appointments. Central to everything. Close to families home to visit.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing. Eat all you want. I’ll definitely be going back.
