This was our third stay in Cancun and our first time at the Grand Fiesta. The Grand Fiesta is a very nice place, the restaurants are 5 star, and we felt very safe in the hotel. There were lots of families and things for the kids to do (we were not with kids). The pool water could have been just a bit warmer, but that's about the only negative I have. We will be going back again!

The hotel was great. Staff was nice and really take care of everything. Lots of options for dinning. Making reservations for dinner was easy. Beach areas were clean and nice. All bar/servers were attentive and helpful. Be aware there are lots of families that stay here. We are fine with it but if you want a quieter adult only resort then you might not want to stay here. The only negative was during check in. You’ve just arrived and walked through time share sales hell in the airport only to be greeted by another time share sales person at the end of check in. We thought they were greeting us to answer questions or help but they wanted us to come to an office and talk. You can definitely decline and they will respect it but I’d rather they just let us head up to our room. Overall the resort was great. We’d stay again

We paid more to stay in this hotel due to the kids pool area, amenities and reviews however once there, the gym was closed and in construction, kids pool area inactive (picture taken from the top of the hotel and the kids pool section is closed). The room had drainage issue in the bathtub and sink and took them 2 days to try to fix it without success. We kept requesting to change room without success and gave up to avoid further stress. Food was ok but not the best. The daily activity journal we only received on the last two days (we stayed 5 days) and on the date of the activity that makes you loose the morning free activity if you are interested. I would suggest to put the journal on the day before in the room when they set up the beds. The beach area is restricted and if you like to have a walk, choose another hotel. Overall unfortunately, I would not recommend the hotel that is pricey for what they offer.
