By the sea, by the sea

Pros: Virtually everything.
Location: Napier is the Art Deco capital of the world, has a lovely beach, and nice people.
This is without a doubt the nicest Quality Inn we’ve ever stayed in. Our room overlooked Hawke’s Bay and a beachfront owned by the people, not private houses or businesses. There were various activities for almost a mile of beach, including fenced-in kids’ area where they had a lot more freedom to run around and experiment, skate board, little kids’ bike/trike/scooter practice road with traffic lights, sports competition area, amphitheater, indoor skating, Aquarium, formal gardens, movie at night, and more. The room was cushy, comfy, beautiful, complete with balcony.
