This isn’t necessarily a slam on this property bc I am sure it was in its prime in the 80s/90s, but it’s terribly overpriced as is the whole area outside the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I would honestly skip if I had to do it again. As for the property, it was standard. We got a deluxe room with a balcony and ended up with a. First floor room porch overlooking a brick wall 3 ft away. Nothing deluxe about that…or the room. The hotel restaurant was incredibly overpriced (but so is everything here). Out of all all the options in the area, this is probably in the top 3. Oh- there is a helicopter tour place nearby and that woke us up in the morning with all the helicopters going by. Not a big deal if you’re an early riser but if you want to sleep in, it’s something to be aware of.

Had3:00 reservations- room not available till 4. Restaurant closed for dinner - just bar open. Rooms very small and basic.
