The staff was amazing. We came in super early on a red eye from San Diego. They did their best to get us a room early. The most friendly staff I've ever encountered.

Absolutely no service whatsoever. When you check into this hotel, you are completely left to your own devices. Bar on main floor was closed, no dining and if you try to go to the rooftop bar, it is always full with people NOT staying at the hotel and they tell you you need a reservation, but don’t accept reservations for parties of 5 or less. They won’t even seat the guests of the hotel on the rooftop bar. Horrible experience. The hotel next door has a better rooftop bar, much quieter and more relaxing with a great view of the Empire State Building and they welcomed us with open arms and made us feel welcome, unlike the hotel we were paying to stay at. Will never go back.

Great hotel but I’m surprised it is considered five stars. Room wasn’t ready until 4:00pm and I’m pretty sure they forgot we were there to check in until I went up a second time to see about our room status. Kind of annoying when you have plans made. Seemed like a lot of other people waiting as well. No refrigerator in the room, only the mini bar fridge to sell you overpriced items. Cool place but for $350 a night I may try to find other places on my next tirip in to NYC.

The Refinery is a great hotel in the perfect location! Very large room (we booked deluxe double) and within walking distance to Times Square, Broadway shows and Rockefeller Center.

Great location 10 minutes walk to Theater and Time square Lots places to eat , specially there Restaraunt Parker Great Bar with some Jazz Friday and Saturday
