Hotel De Ville - Florence

Pros: Central location and the staff
Cons: Nothing. It's grear
Location: The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Duomo, the Uffitzi Gallery, the Academia, the Pitti Palace, and the Ponte Vecchio
Great hotel and very professional staff. They helped us book additional tours and made some excellent restaurant recommendations. The Happy Hour was fun. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Just what we needed.

I chose this hotel by location, price and TA reviews. I knew I wasn't staying in a luxury hotel, but this place pleasantly surprised me. The location was PERFECT, close to everything buy not on a super crowded street. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The lobby and other public areas were beautiful. The rooms were nice, only complaint here was one I expected based on previous reviews. The mattresses are hard. Another great part was a fantastic happy hour every night. Drinks were only discounted by 20% the first night of our stay. Paying regular price was not a problem considering the fabulous food that's included. It had dips, spreads, fruits, little sandwiches. Everything was delicious. One could certainly fill up if trying to cut costs on dinners. We would definitely stay here again.
