"Everything was great!"
Everything was great!  The entire staff was not only professional, but very personable and accommodating. From the doormen, to the bell hops to the front desk staff and the concierge staff...excellent service!!  My husband and I were celebrating our 23rd anniversary and we were graciously upgraded to a suite near the top floor, as well as complimentary champagne with chocolate covered strawberries and they even through in breakfast one morning!  Very classy!! Kimberly was fabulous!  Upon our return to NYC, we will definitely be staying at The Benjamin again!!!  Double thumbs up to all at The Benjamin.....you truly made our anniversary in the Big Apple a memorable one!!  Thank you for everything

"Very special employees work here"
My husband & I recently stayed 6 nights at the Hyatt Union Square. Our room was “the urbane studio” Room 613. It was VERY quiet with the most comfortable king size bed & luxurious pillows and sheets. NYC is called the “City That Never Sleeps” but we both got the BEST sleep every night. The beautiful blackout curtains completely block out a ray of light.-I took a picture of the beautiful sheer curtain pattern. One morning we woke at 9am! OMG! If you have to be somewhere, set your alarm or ask for a wakeup call. The room is a small space about 350 sq. ft. but every bit of space is utilized efficiently. The shower is a good size with great hot water and water pressure. The small vanity area was very efficient for my husband to shave his face & for me to put on the makeup—great lighting. The downstairs lobby is very inviting if you're meeting friends or just want to get out of the room for a bit to read the NY Times. It is a dog friendly hotel too. My daughter-in-law came by with the doggie and we just sat and chatted in the lobby. It is a very soothing and calming atmosphere. One caveat- don't be tempted by the mini bar or snack bar in the room, LOL. The sticker prices are outrageous: Snickers bar $5, beef jerky $7, Dean & Deluca gummy bears $10, 1 liter of Fiji water, $7—ridiculous! Walgreens is across the street on 13th and there are stores all over the square for anything you need. Very special employees work here..so nice to see.

"Rooms are tiny but very clean/modern and have everything you need."
Staff are overwhelmingly helpful. The continental breakfast was a nice offering. Coffee/tea was available all day. The room is cozy but comfortable. It's very modern and clean. I had a queen bed, and it was more comfortable than my bed at home! Also the location is just a block to the subway station.

"2nd stay and we'll be back!"
We love this hotel - have stayed here twice and we will definitely stay here again. First stay our room was fabulous - one of the top floors with an amazing view of the Chrysler building. Beautiful room and furnishings. Second stay a little lower down overlooking east river. Still a nice room but a little older. The location is excellent for us - close to grand central and close to our daughter's apt. Nice quiet area but close to everything you need. Great coffee shop in the lobby. Nice to see a different area of New York. We felt the price was great for the quality of this hotel. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Can't wait for our next visit.

"Excellent hotel - very comfortable, classy rooms"
Loved my stay at the Gramercy - my room was spacious, well appointed comfortable and classy. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the downstairs bartenders are attentive, creative and fun - no pretense! Great location for me with access to Flatiron area and terrific selection of local restaurants ranging from select bar food, top notch Italian to very good Indian food. I got a great deal in an off month and would love to stay here again if rates come down a bit.
