Really enjoyed our weekend getaway at St Anthony, couple comments/suggestions - The summertime pool party with DJ every Saturday afternoon not what seniors looking for, but we just got to the pool early and left when DJ start. Also, ate both restaurants - breakfast was marginal and dinner for how much spent was unimpressive with limited choices and imperfect execution.

Enjoy a full service hotel. The valet staff was helpful, as was maintenance when had a TV issue and they came quickly and fixed problem. Enjoyed the bar at the pool! Had room service sandwiches in room that were very good. The dinner at Brubella's was over priced for entrees that not that good for the cost. Breakfas better when we left hotel than in the Glass Restaurant. However, truly enjoyed the Hotel and our suite. Next time would eat out more.

Beautiful hotel! All of the staff - front desk, concierge, housekeeping - so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. It's also an easy walk to the River Walk. This was my first trip to San Antonio, and it was spectacular!

It is a lovely historic hotel but the swimming pool was basically not available to guests as they sell day passes to local 20-somethings for a pool party on both Saturday and Sunday. There was a DJ playing incredibly loud music with way too many people standing in the pool getting drunk. Even worse, when they got out of the pool - ick. I have never seen so many thong bikinis. I can’t unsee some of this. I was hoping to chill by the pool and read a book. Yeah, no. There are many other nice downtown SA hotels that don’t do this. Less concerning but, still thought I’d share, I don’t understand why they turned off the refrigerators in the rooms because of COVID. I also was disappointed the rooms not have a coffeemaker. So, bottom line, skip this one.
