    "Good value"
This hotel was a great value for my new husband and me on our honeymoon to Italy. It was up-to-date, clean, and and comfortable (especially for Europe). For example, they were the only hotel on our trip that had an ice machine on our floor. We had no problems walking everywhere from this hotel, but we are both young citydweller that are used to walking a lot. The main subway stop is just two blocks away and most tourist sites are very convenient to it. Actually, we found the neighborhood really conveinant. We found ended up using several restaurants, gelateria, tabacchis, souvenier shops, and ATMs all within a block or so of the hotel. Finally, the hotel let us check in extremely early (at 8 am), which was so great after a red eye flight the day after our wedding. In terms of criticisms, the breakfast isn't great and got old by the end of the five days that we stayed. Also, we booked one tour with Appian Line Tours on the concierge's recommendation, and the tour was AWFUL. We booked other tours through a company called Dark Rome, and they were so vastly superior to Appian Line Tours I can't even begin to express it. Its not really the hotel's fault, but you would think they would be more careful with their recommendations. Finally, the free wifi only in the lobby thing was a bit annoying, but really if you are on vacation how much computer access do you really want?

    "Fantastic Deal"
This hotel has been recently renovated. It has large modern rooms with "americanized bathrooms", free wi-fi, and flat screen TV's with english speaking programming. It is within walking distance to trevi fountain, spanish steps, the coliseum, and many museums. It's location is in the main shopping district, so it is close to lots of shops and restaurants. It is a great deal for the cost.
