Won't stay here again

Pros: The staff and lobby area
Cons: Rooms, including mattresses all need to be updated - pay more attention to the bathrooms which need a good cleaning around the tops of the baseboards.
Location: Location was okay - there seemed to be several restaurants close by
Although the front staff was very welcoming and polite - the room fell way below our normal experience with Hampton. The rooms are dated - the bathroom floor had dust and hair on the top of the trim around the bottom of the tub and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. We always stay with this chain because we are Hilton Honors Members - however, this hotel will definitely not be one we will stay at again. We did not receive our welcome gift when we checked in for being Hilton Honor's members.

They made me feel so special

Pros: The staff full of smiles and so wonderful and nice right on at arrival- clean room and bathroom
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to the interstate where I did my traveling very convenient location
I felt so special and welcomed to be at this hotel. The service was prompt. everyone was friendly, professional and so nice to me. Very clean hotel everything just wonderful.

Great Hotel

Pros: Everything!!! I have stayed at varies hotels but the staff here was great!
Cons: Keep doing a great job!
Not only was the hotel clean the staff l is great and went the extra mile. I needed more towels - they brought them right up to my room, called to see if I needed anything else or a wake up call. I need to print something and the business center wasn't letting me get in there and they let me use a computer up at the front to accomplish what I needed. The staff was awesome and will stay again if I need to.

Front desk Lady very attentive.

We are from Laredo, Texas but have been traveling for sometime. We went to South Bend, Indiana to drop our son at Notre Dame University. We stopped in Arkansas n other towns along the way. Then spent a couple of days in Carpentersville, Illinois visiting family. We also visited chicago n finally decided to drive back. I felt ok today so we traveled all day. I wanted to get home to my comfy bed. Until tonight we stopped at DeSoto, Texas. I couldn't last another minute on the road. I suffer from fibromyalgia n don't really know when or how bad pain can get. tonight I suddenly felt super bad so my husband desperately searched for the first hotel he could see. it was luckily Hampton. Well Lisa was very attentive. She saw I could barely walk n made everything possible to make my stay more comfortable. including finding me a room on the first floor. She called to offer anything that could or would make me feel better. She told us her neighbor also suffers from fibromyalgia so she knows how bad it can get. well she also wanted to make sure I was ok n said she likes to help people but since she works nights doesn't get much chance to do so. its a blessing to find someone like her working in a hotel. I wanted to recomend anyone who drives through here to stop by you won't regret it. besides her well service the rooms are awesome, very clean & I'm not even missing my bed nor bath either. I had a wonderful hot bath n got to bed n even pillows are comfy n smell so clean like I like my own to be... I will surely stop every time we pass through here from now on. May God bless you Lisa ... Can't wait for breakfast too, lisa said its a complimentary hot breakfast buffet ;)

Very friendly staff. A great place to stay.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
We stayed here for two nights. The staff was very friendly and they made us feel like we were appreciated. The location was convenient to most of Dallas - especially the south side. Our room was very comfortable and the cleanliness was excellent.
