We stayed at the Ocean View rooms. The rooms are really outdated and we had a large mosquito infestation. Every night we had to kill at least 20 mosquitos and we would still wake up with bites. One night my husband couldn’t sleep at all because he kept getting attacked by them. Other than that the property is very nice and under construction for their new development. The beach staff was nice and friendly. There are two iguanas that were on the beach at all times and we’re really chill. One downside is there is no gym or running trial. Should really consider adding a gym to the resort.

Unfortunately, you can find this issue everywhere on the island. Nice resort, really huge
Pros:Modern, quiet, and spacious
Cons:Maybe a shuttle from garden to the beach area (it's really far without a car)
Location:Honestly it's really far from everything except the caves and the airport. If you're looking for proximity to other beaches and the city area not it.
We absolutely loved staying at Blue Bay, it was modern, spacious, and absolutely beautiful. However staying in the gardens was quite the troop to anywhere else on the grounds, and the living area had no air conditioning so it was extremely hot, and there were a lot of mosquitos. Again, this is nothing against the resort but if you are not a fan of being hot and mosquitos you might want to stay in Ocean suites.

Nice hotel for a Curacao experience
Pros:Rooms confort
Cons:Rooms have coffe machines, so it would be nice to supply some coffe grains. The Hotel should offer free trips to down town trough a small bus.
Location:Beach and Golf
Excelent rooms with all the confort you can expect. Restaurants are located at the beach, have a mile away. The Blue Bay golf course have an interesting design, much better for site seen than for playing. It does not worth a trip just for golfing purposes

Best Beach in Curacao
Pros:Free Internet, Quiet
Cons:Nothing close
Yes there are units on the beach (Ocean) and some up the hill (Hill) - be sure to specify which you want if you care. We stayed on the Hill and it was great - had a partial sea view from our large, private balcony with triple sliding doors, comfy chairs and ceiling fan. It is a steep hill down to the beach, bar, restaurant so if you are lazy the hill units are not for you, otherwise it's no big deal - great way to work off a meal or some drinks. I will admit we had a car (recommended) and we did drive down to the beach or restaurant sometimes. There was only one screen on one bedroom window but there is A/C in the bedroom, not in the rest of the unit. It's great to have a kitchen with full size fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher. The bed is like a rock. Huge walk in closet and big bathroom with two sinks and large walk in shower. Staff was very helpful. Computer with internet access is available in the lobby. Wifi available but we didn't pay for it. It is the BEST beach we found in Curacao - tons of palm trees provide shade over cushy lounge chairs - beaches here are not free and outsiders have to pay $8US to be on the beach. Bar is reasonable compared to the other resorts. Had a great meal at the restaurant too.

Best balcony views
Two couples stayed in a two bedroom ocean front apartment. The unit was very spacious. It was perfect for two couples. Each bedroom had an attached bathroom. Beds were hard. Had a few small ants in one of the bathrooms. The air conditioning unit in the master bedroom didn't work that well. The large balcony overlooked the ocean an beach. This was a great place for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. We usually had an adjacent outdoor pool to ourselves. The beach with palm trees, chairs and thatched huts was very nice. We snorkeled at Blue Bay and three other beaches on Curacao. None of them were that great. I read reviews about mosquitos being a problem. I never saw one during the week I was in Curacao.

Simply amazing
Went to Blue Bay's new complex, Blue Emerald, located beachfront. The views are simply breathtaking (perfect for watching the sunset!). A spot of breakfast, lunch, or dinner is located right on the beach called Azurro. Their food was delicious. Drinks are also served at the bar on the beach. It's a great place to relax on your balcony and feel the breeze with friends, or spend a romantic time with your loved one. Yes, there is still construction in certain areas, but the location is unmatched. I don't know what fumes people are taking about, most are felt further south by Piscadera. It's within a 10 minute drive to Williamstead. Definitely recommend it to all.
Simply walk outside to smell the salt air and watch the ocean waves from the white sand beach. Spend the day at the beach and work on your tan in the sun loungers (chaise longues) or kick back in the shade with complimentary cabanas and umbrellas. Summer fun is a breeze at Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort, where you can play a round of golf at the golf course, cool off in one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools, and enjoy a treatment at the full-service spa. There are 2 restaurants on site, as well as a coffee shop/café and a snack bar/deli. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include a beach bar and a bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi. This beach resort also offers outdoor tennis courts, a garden, and a terrace. You'll have access to the outdoor pool and health club at a partner property.
