Built on the site of Culver City's first movie theater in 1924, the historic Culver Hotel was once owned by John Wayne and was home to most of the cast of "The Wizard of Oz" during filming.

Period-1920s detail includes paintings, antique rugs, and dark paneling. The Culver Hotel is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
