location, location, location.

Right across the street from the ocean. Our room has a balcony and the view of the ocean. Price is reason and the location is the best. A few minutes walk to the train on the left and a short distance walk to the pier entrance where the free shuttle bus takes you to the ship. Supermarket and mini-supermarket is also within walking. So are the restaurants. Rome is about an hour away. Only cost 5 Euro each way. Everything is great during our two nights stay. Staffs are very helpful and nice.

Older Hotel, but nice.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Shower function needs to be fixed.
Location: Close to the train station (5 minute walk) and the town (5-10 minutes the other direction). There is a decent Turkish small restaurant almost next do
We stayed here for two nights prior to embarking on a cruise from the Civitavecchia port. This is an older hotel, convenient both to the town and to the train station (as we took the train into Rome for our one full day there). The rooms are comfortable,and there is a very nice breakfast buffet included. The front desk arranges for transport to the ship on cruise day for about 20 Euro. The shower, unfortunately, was unusable, as it erratically changed from freezing cold to scalding hot regardless of the setting, so had to resort to a bath.

Good for one night.

Pros: Really near the train station. That I only stay for one night.
Cons: Hotel service did not speak English or Spanish, facilities were deteriorated, a lot of dust in the common areas, Hotel service were not friendly at all. I will not stay more that one or two nights.

Roses Hotel De La Ville

The hotel was lovely. Pricey for me a senior citizen. The staff very accommodating and friendly. Great breakfast too. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Very nice shower.Lovely view from our window. Also within walking distance to ship and train station
