When I made the reservation, it said that I would have to pay a $100 resort fee. When I checked in, the front desk person charged me $100 per night, for a total of $300. This severely affected my budget for this trip and I had to ask my mother to send me money. Very embarrassing! I was told the $300 would be refunded after checking out.

Came to Chicago for my birthday and was immediately greeted by a wonderful staff at the Swissotel. They gave us a great room with a view of the lake and Navy Pier. Everyone was kind and courteous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will be back.
