The building has an old Italian,creepy feeling to it. The rooftop deck is barely open if you’re a tourist looking to enjoy a beer. The sheets were dirty, the carpet was loose. Will never book this place again. 2/5 stars.

Traveler Beware! I just stayed there in their king size suite, the most expensive room in the hotel ($270.00 per night), because I needed an office attached. The room was advertised on their web site and it looked beautiful. OMG it was worse than horrible! 1. Extremely stained carpet 2. Upholstery that resembles urine stains. 3. Glass of bedroom window has two breaks in each corner and a long break in the middle, which is dangerous in the event it falls out on the floor and cuts someone. Additionally, it lets in cold air. 4. Rip in the curtain 5. Warped and peeling paint on bathroom door. 6. Rusty hinges 7. Mold on the bathroom ceiling 8. Rusted and filthy air/heating vent 9. Rusted and filthy drain 10. Sloppy attempt to cover old, filthy caulking 11. Cracked surface of toilet seat 12. General condition of the furniture in the suite is chipped and dented Additionally, I was taken advantage of by the valet company, which was explained that they contract out. The valets had me pay them in cash, and then double charged my room. Also, they tried to charge me for an additional overnight stay of my car (3 nights instead of 2). I had parked overnight at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, which was 2 blocks from the hotel and where I was filming. I had the receipt, which was clearly stamped with my time in the Museum Garage and out again the next morning. This was only one of several issues I had to take up with the managers there.

very nice room, good size and a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location to Michigan Avenue and Oak Street Beach.

Property and location were excellent, overall, but there were very few amenities— not even a fridge in the room and very poor lighting for reading. Also, the check-in was inefficient at best. Only one person at the front desk, and we had to wait 15-20 minutes to check in and another 3-4 hours before our room was ready. Also, the two elevators are very tiny and slow.

They had no coffee machine in the room. The roof top was closed. The chair was stained It was very noisy. The staff was excellent!
