"Great location, good staff, parking NIGHTMARE"
We reserved to rooms for a winter break outing to Chicago with my partner's children. The location was convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were clean and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Parking, however, was provided by the valet service of another property a block away. It was necessary to drive about five blocks, however, to get to the drop-off point. The valet staff was courteous and prompt however if I had know while booking that "valet parking" did NOT mean "from THIS property" I would have booked elsewhere.

"Cool, but not completely up to par"
I spent one night at the Dana when I was in town to see a show. The hotel was cool, with urban decor and the amenities you'd expect. The room was small, with only a patio door and no windows, which made it seem even smaller. The tiny patio would have been fun, except that the door didn't work correctly. For that matter, the TV didn't work correctly either. But they fixed both for us quickly.

"Great Location"
Nice hotel in a great location. Across from the park and a short walk to the aquarium, museums, & planetarium. My room had a view of the lake. Room is nice. Nothing stupendious but the beds are comfortable. Bathroom was small and a bit dark. I reserved a room with a queen bed and got a room with two double beds but I didn't care enough to make a fuss. The people working at the hotel were nice. The restaurant downstairs was okay but I'd prefer going out to eating at it again.

"Beautiful facility"
We had a pleasant stay here. This hotel is blissfully located right in the heart of the theater district! There was a wine/beer reception for guests each evening in the beautiful lobby. We did have an issue getting a rollaway bed in our room, but it was eventually resolved. The lobby is gorgeous and the staff was amenable. The concierge was especially helpful in getting us tickets to the Art Institute at a discount.
