If you find yourself with some extra time at JFK airport, you’re in luck. Many of the best-known shops, eateries and other services in the world can be found here. Just about every type of amenity a traveler could want can be found at this airport. The city is a place for shoppers, and JFK is no different, featuring everything from designer goods and perfume to delectable chocolates and beyond. When it comes to food and drink, travelers won’t have any trouble finding a perfect place to grab a bite or a beverage, both before and after security checkpoints.
Getting to and from the city from the airport is relatively easy and inexpensive via the AirTrain. It takes just 35 minutes from JFK to Penn Station, although you’ll have to transfer to the subway to reach Manhattan and the many hotels located there. There are also taxis available outside of every terminal that can take you to any Manhattan location as well as a number of private shuttles.
